Your private horseback riding tour begins at our stables in Cocles and follows the spectacular Caribbean coastline through Punta Cocles, Playa Escondida, Playa Chiquita and Punta Uva. Ride exclusively with your personal guide along pristine beaches and rainforest trails while discovering one of Costa Rica’s richest wildlife areas, home to sloths, monkeys, toucans, parrots and many other tropical species.
At Punta Uva you’ll enjoy a relaxing break to stretch your legs, admire the scenery and take photos before riding back along the coast. As with all our horseback riding experiences, the exact route and riding distance may vary depending on the riders’ experience level, weather conditions and sea conditions, ensuring the safest and most enjoyable experience for both our guests and our rescued horses.
After your ride, continue your experience with a one-hour professional massage performed by licensed therapists, creating the perfect combination of adventure, wellness and relaxation.
Unlike ordinary horseback riding tours, every ride directly supports our horse rescue project. All our horses have been rescued and are cared for with respect, patience and love, allowing you to enjoy an authentic ethical horseback riding experience while supporting responsible tourism.
